It’s Lisa Jardine calling from Leatherbarrow Primary with your Tuesday talk mail. I hope you had a very Happy Thanksgiving!

As we continue our focus of Be Safe, students are learning about bus safety. Today, all students will participate in a bus safety lesson and a bus evacuation.

On Thursday morning, we will practice a school lockdown with members of the RCMP in attendance. We have discussed how a lockdown would be needed if an animal got into the school, and we needed to get it out safely.

On Thursday afternoon, we are holding our first after school movie of the year. If your child would like to attend, please send $5.00 and a signed permission form to the school. Students will be dismissed from their own classrooms at approx. 3:45pm. Please go to your child’s classroom to retrieve them at that time on Thursday.

Finally, there is no school for students on Friday as all staff are participating in professional development session on school improvement.
